worrisome news
Osd40 called to get some help with sdg19. Sdg19 is 7.8 months pregnant, lives with first love/baby daddy and his dad. She is way into GUS(golden uterus syndrome) to the point I quit looking at her Facebook.
Both sgd and fl are mature below their years. And now he's put his hands around her neck, after she slapped him, after he wouldn't allow her out of the house. SWIM, real mature.
What can I say to her that will help her get out of this situation. Right now she's still at 'he'll never do this again' 'I just have to not make him mad' 'but I luuuuuvvvvvv him' stage. FL has pushed her in the past and often verbally degrades her. He did tell her his grandfather was a wife beater. (wtf). She's definitely not listening to her mother.

I don't think there is
I don't think there is anything you can do except never judge her and make it clear that if she needs to talk or escape you will be there for her. Make the family aware of the situation and have them tell her they know, are worried and are there for her if she needs help. She needs a support network to be in place when she stops being in denial.

Just frustrating to see her get sucked into the violence cycle. Very worried for her.
