They're doing a drive-thru ceremony.

It's only one car per family.

I'm sure you can add up the variables and come to the solution, but in case word problems weren't your strong suit (no worries, not mine, either), I will be sharing a vehicle with BM and her DH for a few hours.

And I can't pregame because I'm likely going to be driving so DH can watch and take pictures (my choice).

I'm currently sitting in the parking lot of the hospital with my mom. My SF got rushed to the hospital with symptoms of a stroke. His blood pressure is really high, but his CT shows there's no bleed. Mom can't go inside, so we're just waiting for more info.

Last night, we had a tornado warning. The town next to us (within 2 miles) got hit badly with either a tornado or high winds, causing building and large tree damage. So, DH and I cleaned out the closet we shelter in under the stairs. Since the boys are still with us (third week in a row, longest away from BM EVER), we told them to shelter in the closet with the dog. This lasted maybe 20 minutes before getting the all clear.

This is a rant that is very broad and very general about my hometown. I understand that there are families who are single parents and/or shoestring incomes for a variety of valid reasons that the following rant does not apply to.
