Great skid weekend oh yeah we have them every fuckin weekend. I've told dh multiple times I don't want bm here don't care if she is just driving by to drop them off don't care. This is my house my space don't want her around it. He let's me know while I'm at work she's dropping them off to my home. Great already pissed. Then he lost car keys so they are stuck in house all day waiting for me to take them out ugh.
Sitting at dinner I can hear both of them
Chewing and dh burps loud twice at a restaurant this is just the best day ever SCS I'm the bitch because I did I couldn't hold it in and said wow I get to hear them chew and you burp great. Now I'm sitting in room alone wishing they would all just go some where and leave and never come back.

I hate the chewing. I put in earplugs and read DH's lips sometimes. We never go out, so usually I just make something up and go into my room and eat there. "My back hurts...."

Hang in there! Ear buds and ear plugs.

Misophonia...

(its an actual sensory processing disorder regarding certain sounds - chewing, sniffing etc)

Those things drive me INSANE. DD9 as well - she cannot sit at the table with certain people because the chewing noises just set her off.

I have to say, mealtimes with ex-OH and the skids were like Chinese water torture to me. Even he was a bit of a pig (MAN that felt good to say LMAO) shovelling food in, slurping and chewing and not properly closing the mouth.... SD was the same, SS wasn't as bad.

For someone who has trouble with "normal" eating noises OMFG these 3.... I had to work SO hard not to react or show disgust or cringe, just truly revolting.

Smile Its the little things I do not miss LOL

And you know, its sods law, I ALWAYS get "that" person next to/behind me in the cinema.... you know the one with the crisps.... ruffle/crunch ruffle/crunch ruffle/crunch all through the movie.

Oh God my dad does that all the time. It always sounds like he has speaker in his mouth as it echoes when he is chewing.
Thankfully this house has pretty quiet eaters. But fussy me is I can't stand them eating like the food is going to be taken away from them. I know I eat slow, but I swear the other day we started dinner with same portion of food on our plates, by the time I finished what was in my plate, SD had finished her 3rd helping. I don't mind how much she eats but it is like woofing the food down without chewing is not nice,

I suppose it has something to do with her one of the 6 children at home and everyone being selfish, but in my house it is different.
