Accountant just told me that we have to pay in this year. BM will get to claim 3 kids and she will take it in. She's 3k behind on child support, sucking at the government test and she will have to file because her hubby is illegal. She's in treatment right now and wants the kids to visit her. In three years she hasn't so much as bought them a pair of shoes, a coat, a book bag. She will get out of treatment and go right back to treatment because she's only there to avoid prison. I despise her

Who ever provides the most $$$$ for the kids get to claim the kids. Go check out the IRS website. IRS could care less what the divorce degree states.

The law in the state of Nebraska, case law mostly, is that if NCP is caught up by the end of th year she gets to claim on taxes. The IRS won't audit but the district court says its contempt if we file on them. She paid 1800 on the 31st of December so she got to claim but she is now 6 grand behind so we got her 800 tax return. A drop in the bucket that was supposed tongi tongue 7k in back daycare expenses she owes. My paralegal out it perfectly, you are raising and paying for these kids. Any money from warty should be a pleasant surprise when it comes. Oh well, we would have gotten more if she would have let us claim them to begin with. Moron
