Loghead was amazing today!

Loghead was on it today! He took me out for breakfast. He finished a few "honey do" jobs and stuck to his guns about the skids being grounded, and got Princess off her ass!

Lazy Boye, SS 16, has been sleeping on a mattress in the living room since his bedroom flooded in March. Loghead finally put down the new carpet today and got his bed and dresser moved back in the room. Lazy Boye was at his job, so Loghead handled alone.

PITA, SS17, calls and wants to go out with friends, and Loghead remembers he's grounded and orders him to get home. PITA spent the day doing chores.

God, I love Facebook!

Oh, look! Loca Grande got a new cow on their "farm."

Wait?! That's not a cow! That's Loca Grande in a black and white spotted two piece swim suit!

LOL... The best part is that Princess, her daughter, my SD, posted the picture for the world to see!

Ah, life is good sometimes.

I felt like peeking in this morning, on Mother's Day. I haven't been on since July! I guess that tells a lot about where I have been, but also left a mystery for some. Some of you know I used another site for awhile, and I kept up that way.

But basically, my marriage got better. My skids got easier. I let go. I found that venting wasn't helping, and probably allowed me to fester for awhile, so I walked away from it ALL. For awhile.

I just wanted to say Happy Mother's Day and "thank you" to the hardest working women I know- stepmothers.

Today, you deserve to be applauded for the choices you made in your life to get you where you are today. When you met your man, you got kids, whether you wanted them or not. And most of you try to make the best of it. Maybe you fill the shoes of a woman who is no longer here, or a woman with serious mental illness. maybe you just try to "mom" because you love your man, and it helps him out.

Feeling really down and lonely. Not sure what I want or need. Could use advice or kind words...

Loghead is away on business again. But I just got home last night! Gibby and I have been away at a family reunion for the last 8 days. Loghead hates to go to the reunion, though he usually comes for one day. This year, he didn't make it at all, but he had a valid excuse. The one day he could have made it to see my family was the one day he had off from his part time work, and he used it to go see Princess.

Princess has had some troubles at college, and has convinced a few of her professors to let her finish up some work during the interim between the Spring and Summer semesters, so she's back at school and staying with some friends to get some work finished up.

honestly, I know professors aren't that kind if you fail to show up to their class, so I can't imagine what lies she told to get this all arranged... but anyway...

More drama with Princess...

Well, next time I get all worked up about Princess coming home from college, remind me not to. She came home last Saturday, and spent most of the weekend in her bedroom. Granted, she was a help on Mother's Day and made dinner for Gibby while Loghead and I got to go out on a date. She was gone by monday night.

}:) When Loca Grande got pissed at me back in January, she said not to write her again or send things anymore, that the skids were old enough to do that on their own now. So I left it to them. I told them weeks ago if they wanted to send a card, or a gift, they would need to take care of it.

Found out today none of them sent a card. Loca Grande was mad at Princess about something (big surprise) and wouldn't answer her phone, and didn't have her voice mail set up.
