Sometimes as custodial stepmoms, there are just some things we have to suck it up, and deal with it. And ocassionally being recognized for these things is nice.

Princess graduates Saturday. I invited everyone. And I mean everyone.

And I made a surprise movie of her life. And included everyone. Loca Grande (BM), Loghead (My DH), Gullible (her step-dad), all of her bio- grandparents, and great grandparents, and my parents and of course her siblings, and as many cousins as I could gather pictures of the them all together, and her step-aunts, etc.

Finding baby pictures was hard. Her bio-mom flipped out at one point during the divorce, and burned pictures and momentos as a way of getting even with Loghead. But I found some...

I did draw the line at including the two pictures I found of them together, holding her at her first easter and on her first birthday...

And I made sure I was in the movie more than bio-mom... I figured that was my reward. I asked Loca Grande to provide pics, and she opted not to... Too bad, so sad.

Video should be AMAZING when I get it completed with music tomorrow night...

I did it because I knew it was the right thing for Princess. It wasn't about Loca Grande or me, but about ALL the people in her life who helped her get to this day...
