Grrrrrr!!!!!!!

Don't know if my father in law will ever get it! I love my father in law but he keeps asking my DH why thing between him (my DH) and the kids have changed. My DH tells him my girls have lied about me, you, and my wife and they have NO respect for my wife. They have told my wife they dont like her never have and never will, they dont have to do what she says cause I'm not their mom. My father in law gave up his life to raise my DH when him and my DH mom got a divorce he has never remarried, dated or anything. My father in law doesnt get it and its now starting to get under my skin what do I do.

Agree to disagree, and have as little to do with him as possible. He can't understand stepparenting because he isn't doing it, and hasn't done it. It's not something that you can quantify to a person on the outside looking in. It's something unique that he won't be able to relate to.

Just ignore him. There's nothin gyou can really do to change his attitude.
