Heart palpatations

I get this sick heart fluttery jump every time the BM calls, even if it's really nothing! Blah, awful.

I used to get the same feeling because she was always up to something and it was never good. She loved being a bitch to my husband and if she was being nice (very, very rare), she was really up to something.

When CS ended, not having to deal with her anymore was almost better than having the extra money.

Oh, the exchanges, I almost forgot about those. I prayed the whole time he was gone! Especially those early years, before SD was old enough to be picked up/dropped off curbside. My husband had to take someone with him the first year or two just to keep BM from making false accusations. I miss those days not.at.all.

We only have 2 years left, but my worry is that the communication and need to please won't end there, even though DH swears it will. He has trouble with boundaries. Even our marriage counselor tells him he doesn't have healthy boundaries with her, and that it's not normal or OK.

Seven years later, and I still do too! Nothing like the first few years (no more sweaty/dizziness) but still get that weird sick feeling when I see her ID on the phone or hear her knock on the door. Weird how the body does that to us! Can't wait til the kids are old enough to drive and are out of the house and we can move away. Blum 3

It's like an instant of "fight or flight" for me! I think some people must enjoy that feeling, like BM, they are addicted to that little rush. It just makes me feel like I might barf!
