Has it finally happened?

I think h@ll might have finally frozen over...or is about to anyway....maybe! Let me explain
We go every weekend out to the cottage.
This past weekend SD19 had some friends coming down from university and they were going to stay at her friends parents house. SD was going back with them yesterday to go to a high school prom with someone she met while she was away last year. (cradle robber LOL) So now it gets interesting
We came home Sunday from the cottage and the first thing I notice is the candles all over the house. Really ticked me off to find the one in the bathroom without a candle holder. I went into the kitchen and looked on the floor in front of the water cooler and picked up what looked like a piece of blue glass. I was puzzled for a second because we have no blue glasses to break at the house. However, as soon as I looked at the bottle of water (you know those huge ones you can barely lift to put on the cooler) I figured it out. Some idiot that SD had over that weekend (or SD herself) some how broke the damn bottle of water. I mean it's shattered, the frigging thing was FULL on Thursday. Those idiots flooded my kitchen! They cleaned it up of course but put the broken bottle back? How dumb is that! If they wanted to hide it they should have gone and bought another one. Then we would have chalked the wet mat in front of the kitchen sink to them just being slobs as usual.
Ok number 2.....DH then goes upstairs and lifts up the toilet seat to go pee and discovers some idiot had puked all over it!! Well he's finally ready to string her up I think!
Let me give you the rest we found....
Someone spent the night in our bed, someone spent the night in my sons bed, the stereo was all frigged up and DH had to rewire it, one of the candles burnt the kitchen table, they pretty much cleaned out the cupboards including the one where I keep my son's lunch snacks, there's something white all over the cupboards and floor in the kitchen, I spent a half hour scraping wax off the counter in the bathroom and there's blue hair dye all over the same counter...if anyone has tried to get hair dye off the counter you know it's impossible!
So DH is pissed by this time. He texts her and tells her to call him they need to talk. She responds with " I can't talk now" He tells her she left a mess in the house. She says the house is not a mess. He tells her he will talk to her later and she is in trouble. She tells him oh your just being mean and you have no respect for me at all (I'm like WTF!!) Ok by this time he's ready to tell her to get the hell out of the house.
So we'll see if he's actually going to do anything or not. She's been MIA since Sunday, actually waited until we left the house yesterday to sneak back in and get her dress for the prom. Of course now he's feeling bad for 'yelling' at her and he hasn't even talked to her yet. She knows enough to keep a low profile until he cools off and then she usually ends up getting off with nothing at all. I'm hoping this time he actually does something about it but I doubt it.
I told him I've had enough of the bullshit with her. His response is 'well she's only here until the first of August and then she'll be gone back to University. Ok yeah whatever! She need 18,000 to go to university and has saved a total of 800, her chemistry mark was not high enough to get into the course that she wanted to so she's taking it through correspondence. Even if she does get the mark up she is not guareented a spot in the course. I have a feeling we will be stuck with the little shit for another year at home and I'm moving out if that happens.

How can she walk in and out when ever she wants to? I would change the locks and lock her out.

That was one idea DH came up with but he'll never do it. She's staying with us for the summer to work and make $$ to go to university.

Do you have one of those?? Can you get one? If so, they're a GREAT investment. Change the locks as 'sparky' said and have an alarm code on. If SD goes in, the police would be called! I'd be damned if someone was going to disrespect my home like that! Especially with the candles- they could have burned your ENTIRE house to the ground! Then what would your DH have said to your darling SD?!

Seriously though if she were an honest person she would have called to tell you she broke the water bottle. Says a lot for her character doesn't it? I would be pissed too. Change the locks definitely.
