So he didn't get on the plane...

I just got an email saying I have a flight credit of $711.63

Called the airline and he never got on the plane. 

I dont know what happened earlier when AA said his ticket was issued. I called back and they said it was never used. 

I am so happy he isn't coming but so mad for all the unnecessary stress! Poor DH was already at the airport waiting. That almost 3 hours of sitting in traffic for him for no freaking reason!

T-minus 60 minutes until SS is supposed to be on the plane

We still have no idea if he is coming.

"His room"- Really the guest room is not clean. I haven't touched it since BS16's friends stayed the night a few weeks ago. That door gets closed and I just haven't dealt with it. I have no plans to. 

DH asked if I though he was going to show. I told him I honestly have no idea. BM still wants her $ and that isn't settled yet, so because of that I am giving it a 50/50. If money wasn't on the table, I would say 100% no. But SS is her big pay check and I'm not sure she will mess that up- but he is 17 so who knows. 

I said I wasn't going to do anything when it comes to SS's visit.... but....

Here is my dilemma. DH's birthday is Sunday. I had planned a nice dinner out with my family, SS21 and my bios for DH for Sunday. 

SS17 is SUPPOSED to be here Monday. Do I push the dinner to Monday so SS can potentially be there?

Keep in mind he has told DH he isn't going to come, even though the plane ticket has been purchased. 

DH enjoy's celebrating his birthday (something I can't relate to lol), I am afraid that no matter what I choose to do, I will make the wrong choice. 

OT-Weight Loss Surgery

Has anyone here has weight loss surgery?

I just got approved, I have a "low" bmi (35.1) for the gastric sleeve surgery, but have sleep apnea so I qualified. I should be getting my official surgery date next month. They are saying end of May, early June. 

Anxiety- Impending Visit from SS17

SS17 is "supposed" to be here in a week and a half. I am an emotional wreck. I told DH I never wanted him in my house again, but that was in a moment of anger. I don't think he really thought I felt that way... and now that we aren't dealing with a crisis, I can't bring myself to tell him again. SS hasn't actually done anything to harm us, it has been a couple of dumb teenage mistakes that I am sure I will eventually deal with my own kids. Everything real and damaging is tied to BM. It doesn't change the way I feel though.

Y'all! I got her!! I have BM's employer! I messaged SS's 1/2 brother's SM. She didn't know for sure (SS's brother is 20 so no real contact) but she had enough to help. I found that the medspa that she probably worked at has multiple locations. So I purposely called one outside the city we know she works in. That location verified she worked for them and even gave me her corporate email and direct line. Sooooo helpful! Lol love them!

College

Posting as a BM on this one... there has never been a question on my son (16) going to college. Never once in his life. He is beyond gifted and will make an amazing engineer one day. He is doing everything he can to get in John's Hopkins.
