Finally got some answers from our attorney

We should know a court date this week. He is shooting for after our cruise in June.

Hubs does need to sign for the contempt for spring break. We aren't asking for make up time, but are requesting financial reimbursement and court costs. He is sending that over early this week.

DH does need to play nice and continue to pay the obscene CS suggested rate by the judge for "good faith". The good news is that by doing this, there should be no arrearages by the time we get to court.

The lawyer did finally, on Friday last week, send the new subpoena to the main corporate location for BM's employer instead of her local branch. Hopefully that means that we will actually get a response. We are pretty sure the first was trashed by BM.

We are holding off for the other contempt for her not turning in her taxes until we have the 30 days for the employer subpoena. 1) because we are hoping it shows she lied under oath. 2) because she submitted financials in Nov. 2021 that she stated as being true- which will also be shown as a lie. -- This will have more of an impact. However, even if the corporate location doesn't reply we are still citing contempt for failure to produce taxes.

Lawyer said that he can't request to terminate support upon 18th birthday, it has to be after graduation. However, he does have an argument prepared to state that this entire process has been nothing but a money grab from BM and no regard for the parent child relationship that has been destroyed since BM has never once been held accountable for her actions.

It's not enough but it's what we have.

Will see to it that SS doesn't graduate.

He is national honor society (because it doesn't take much when there are no AP/advanced classes) so I think he will graduate... however, if BM can convince him he is "sick" and can't live without her I am sure she will try to get CS extended!

Fingers crossed.  I hope this all turns out well because I feel like you guys can't catch a break.

At least the cruise is something to look forward to.
