Crazy BM situation with a co-worker

justmakingthebest's picture

We just hired a new guy last week. I knew a little about him, he has 7 kids! He has custody of an ex-stepson to keep him out of foster care. -- I thought to myself, wow! He has a lot on his plate, but good for him.

Well, over the weekend in our groupchat he sent a bunch of pictures of his house. He had been robbed and the house torn to pieces. His windows all smashed, furniture, took a hammer to his glass top stove. Found out this morning that they even killed his cat.

Give you one guess who was behind it. BM and HIS DAUGHTER. Apparently she was PAS'ed to hell and her and mommy dearest decided to get back at him for getting custody of her other kid.

After they did that to his house they called the cops and tried to say that he assulted the daughter. He had proof that he was out with his current wife to dinner when all of this happened. They looked around the house. He had to drive to the police station file some paperwork to get the charges against him dropped and they filed 16 charges against BM and his daughter.

All I can think... is this what happens to PAS'ed kids. Do they really get THIS bad?? I feel so bad for him and his wife. Apparently they didn't have insurance, so I don't even know what they are going to do Sad

We had two situations around here: one in which a mother and 2 adult PAS'd sons killed the father; and another in which a father and an adult PAS'd daughter killed the mother.

It's powerful stuff. He should take this very seriously.

Poor cat.  Sad

That is a whole other level of crazy. I mean, to kill their cat?

Just one reason why I was glad that BM had sabatoged DH's relationship with her son, I did not want to deal with a kid that wasn't even his (and I wouldn't have). Dealing with bitch BM for his bio was enough, I wouldn't have done it for his ex step son.

Kudos to the guy for doing what he felt was right for the kid, but damn.

In the past, BM had convinced SD (now 28) to lie to DH about several things, and to try to get DH to hit her, but I can't imagine her doing something like what happened to this guy.

Can you imagine the guilt this kid feels?? I think he is like 17. His mom is such a POS she lost him for neglect. Then to get saved from foster care just to have your crazy ass mother do all of this to the one person that stepped up and kept you in a normal home and loved you even though he is your EX step dad.

That poor cat. The house is upsetting, but replaceable. I can’t imagine being so insane I’d kill someone’s poor innocent pet, I hope those crazies get the book thrown at them. If I were his wife I’d insist we move and NONE of his kid with BM would be getting the new address.

That is the stuff of nightmares. It doesn't help I just watched Don't F&%k With Cats on Netflix this weekend. I kinda wanna alert those internet slueths to these cat killers. What POS low life scum this woman and kid are.

He just came in asking to go home early. The detectives called and got BM's boyfriend hiding in his mother's attic. They arrested the mother too. He has to go identify him in a line up.

Is now a Federal crime.  This should absolutely fall under the new PACT regulations if you are in the US.

I hope the book gets thrown at these two retrobates!

I will let him know and tell him to ask the detectives. He wants them all to rot for the rest of their lives. I don't think that will happen but a good 10-15 should be good for them!

Jesus that's sad, I really hope the SD is tried as an adult if she is a minor. Hopefully these two will get some jail time and at least be off the street long enough so the guy and his current wife can find a new place to live without a forwarding address. As for murdering an innocent animal, I don't see either of them faring very well in jail/prison.

OMG!!!  what a horrible thing!  Anyone that would kill an animal would most definitely kill a person.

If someone hurt my cat it would be an ugly situation.  I like my cat better than 99.999999 % of the people in this world.

I might be leaving that situation even if  I did have kids with the guy.

asks for and the judge(s) order restitution from ALL of them. It needs to be a condition of probation.

This is disturbing on many levels.

No home owner's insurance?? Why? Ugh. I can't imagine not carrying

I guess he just bought a trailer like within the last few weeks and since it isnt required he had not set it up yet. I agree though- ALWAYS HAVE INSURANCE!

of kids, so money is probably tight?

He's living some hard consequences of having more kids than you can afford.
