Perhaps BM won't be getting out.

I got subpeona'd yesterday to be on 'stand by' for court today.

Karma aka My Boss is taking on BM in court today for the chaos she created at my job.

Pity Party for One.

Today I am just tired. Mentally and physically and I want a break. One I am not likely to get anytime soon.

I feel older than my years, found more gray hairs, definitely getting the frown line between the brows… and I am oh sooo tired: of dealing with someone else’s kids: Of raising them, supporting them, and at times… I am really tired of being in the same state as them.

BM is potentially eligable for early release. She was sentenced to a year in jail which she started in early May 2013.

Our local jails are stuffed. Drug dealers, hookers, murder, rape, child abuse etc etc. So since her crime was non violent, she is eligible for a 1/1. For every day of good behavior a day is removed from her sentence, so she would do 6 months in jail, the remaining six months would be 'tacked on' to whatever probation she has.

Yeah, she got herself suspended, yes she is in ALC for a month...

However, I just pulled up grades online and sd16s grades are STRAIGHT A's!!!!

Even in MATH!!!!!! Skid3 is scared of Math, has no confidence in herself regarding this subject and she has a 97%!!!

In her science class girlie is rocking a 103%!!!!

I realize we are not quite a month into the school year... and that she got suspended three days into the school year then went straight to ALC. But this kids grades are normally B/C with the occasional A.

When I said "what else can go wrong" that was not a challenge!! I promise!!

Friday:
Yeah it was a challenge when BS's car broke down, on a highway, in the pouring raid and AAA took four hours to get there.
Having the tow truck hit the car and cause a dent with the tow bar was a little much there though... maybe the tow truck driver did need to learn a lesson in depth perception, but should it really be at my son's expense?
The flat tire on my car on the way to rescue BS? Over kill hon, over kill.

Skid2 (THE 17 YEAR OLD!!) is grounded for skipping school. He has no electronics for a two week period. If it plugs in or runs off batteries, he is not allowed to use it. DH handed him an old fashioned wind up alarm clock before the kid could even bring up his alarm clock was electric. DH also will not be writing him an excuse for missing classes, so if his grades fall due to his ‘adventure’ it is all on him and he will have to fight to get them back up. DH did email his band director, that Skid missed practice because he skipped school.

So today we had a business lunch. All sales force one restaurant, company pays for lunch and we have a working lunch. Nice little italian restaurant. There is literally a group of 20 of us so we are in a back room. I get up halfway through lunch walk to the bathroom and literally stop in front of a table that skid2 and BM mother are sitting at.

I thought both were going to shit themselves.
Skid2 is supposed to be at school.
He definately left the house to get on the bus this morning.
