Sometimes sibling rivalry works for the kids...

In an unforseen turn of events, skid#3 (the vain cheerleader) has become rather put out that younger brother skid#4 has been showing off his new vocabulary. All kinds of big words he picked up from his punishment of copying the dictionary. Apparently she feels since she is older she should not have to ask 'what' a word her younger brother is using means.

I caught skid3 going through the dictionary last night, looking for big words, writing them down and their definitions so she can learn and use them too.

And I am laughing my a$$ off.

Last week skid 4 got in trouble at school. Mr thing opened his mouth, something really inappropriate came out and he got suspended for a day due to potty mouth.

His excuse was he couldn't think of anything else to say. Really?? All those words in the English language and you chose Dick Head. Hmm, here let me help you expand your vocabulary.

He spend his day suspended and the entire weekend, copying word for word the Merriam Webster dictionary, unabridged.

Handing out free passes again today: Tell me what you would do with yours!

So, BM’s attorney sent us a new letter through our attorney. It’s written all polite and chatty with the underlying “If we cannot come to a mutual agreement then we will let the courts decide” tone.

See, BM is being transferred to Prison. And the prison she is going to is nearly 300 miles away from where we live. She and her attorney apparently, feel that since she has completed her parenting classes, anger management classes etc: that she should be allowed her ‘supervised visitation’ with the skids, despite her ‘current housing situation’.

Oh hell.

Everyone say a prayer...for my poor little Beemer.

Insurance company us allowing a rental car for the totalled Beetle only of course you have to be over 25 to drive it. That means sd19 can't.

The mom mobile is being used by the younger teens to drive back and forth to extra-c's

DH's car is a stick and she has no idea how to drive one.

So, either I drive the rental and she drives the Beemer or I am stuck driving this skid to work and classes which I can't do because I do need to work.

Gulp.

Just wanted to put this where everyone can hopefully see it.

DH and I had all the kids load into their cell phones a contact of:

I.C.E: DH Full Name

When first responders try and call someones next of kin/ family they will go into thier cell phones and look for someone designated as ICE

BM going from jail to Prison

She plead out.

Sentenced to 36 months in prison and $50k in fines. Also must reimburse the $75k it cost to investigate her false claim and prosecute her.

So all totalled: She owes $125k and will be spending the next 36 months in prison, sentence to start when she is released/parolled from her current jail sentence. So yeah, she will get out about the same time skid4 turns 18.

And she still faces a civil suit for damages from my Boss.
