Payback, the legal b*tch slap.

Hmm seems BM already HAS a warrent for her arrest. Failure to pay child support. Imagine that. Nifty, but I also told DOR where she could be found (her parents address).

Then I called her Probation officer again, advising him she has a warrent for failure to support.

Seems she will be picked up today/ tomorrow. Her "bail" is the $1500.00 a month for June, July, August, September. So, she can get out of jail if someone pays the 6 grand she is behind in CS.

If she manages to get it done, I will be posting on facebook about the family CRUISE we will be taking on her dime!

That was inputed at what she was making, prior to losing her job, for breaking into my house and then repeatedly breaking the RO that landed her in jail.

She is college educated. She had been making decent money. She just can not seem to wrap her head around the fact that the world does not revolve around her and she doesn't get to make the rules. And when the court gives her an order: she has to follow it.

JHW:

Built into your benefits package, which you are now eligible for, is prepaid legal. Refer to deduction line 5 on your pay stub this benefit is $2500.00 a year in legal assistance.

Since the company pays for it, make use of it and bury this pile of excrement once and for all.

It is an investment in employees. Some employers offer the 'discount' program which is significantly cheaper for the sponsoring company. We chose a plan that actually helps the employee. As much as I would like to say I did it out of the goodness of my heart the bottom line is: it pays the company back more than we pay out.

If I have an employee that is financially strapped, stressed, distracted and non productive due to legal issues that they cannot afford to pay for, it costs my company money.

If by paying for this package and giving the employees $2500.00 annually of free legal, then once the retainer is exhausted they have a 40% discount off the attorney's normal rates: they are less stressed, less distracted and far more productive. It is honestly win/win for all.

Employee contribution is all of $5.00 per pay period. The company absorbs the rest which is also a tax deduction for us. We have had the program for five years. So far I am the only one who has used it. JHW needs to so I can feel I am getting some of my money back LOL.

(Edited to correct spelling.)
