So my sons boyfriend who doesn't live  with us threw a party at our home while we were out of town . Despite of all the minor evidence that was left behind.  The 2 major was marijuana evidence and that someone puked on the bed and floor in our guest bedroom  and just left it there. When He was confronted he lied at first  then  finally admitted it! And he basically said  to me that nothing was effecting me right now and that why am I getting so worked up about it.  That he had taken it upon himself to speak to my neighbors to let them know if it got loud to let him know before calling the police!Smh!!  At this point I am beyond angry. He doesn't get  that he did nothing wrong. This kid has gotten in trouble before the most serious one was he was involved in hurting a disabled kid at school and got 6 mons probation and some community hours  which he never did them because his aunt signed off on them .my boyfriend was upset with about having the party  but not like me.  I feel very disrespected and my privacy violated and very angry. My bf took his Mac laptop away and is basically telling me that I am overreacting that it's normal for teens his age to act this way! I don't agree because I have  raised two very successful kids who never pulled anything like this.  And if they had they would have gotten ass beating ..  this is creating big problems between my boyfriend and I. I feel like he is allowing for his son to disrespect me and is not holding him accountable for anything .am I wrong?? I feel like I'm in the twilight zone!

Time for both of them to move back out of your house. Neither of them respect your home so neither deserve the privilege of living there.

That kid better be paying for a professional cleaning  service to come in and clean your house.  As for the kid injuring a disabled kid...what's so appealing about his father that you can overlook that?

And this is why my SSs will never have a key to our home, never know our alarm code, and never know our schedule for being out of town.

It IS normal for teens to do that, true. But that doesn't mean no consequences.

My own DD threw a small party when DH and I were out of town. She was maybe 20, and way old enough to know better, but she was a handful at that age, more so than her teenage years. Nothing got broken and there was nothing to clean up, but I was working on our tax return so had financial documents all over the home office. So I made DD sit with me while I put holds on credit cards, etc. I was pretty mad.

I don't think that young kids understand the gravity of it.  They don't get that they are inviting people in that may steal or destroy things.  and that it may not necessarily be just the kids who came to the party that find out you have things that might be worth stealing.. like guns.. etc..

Nor that if word of the party hits the Internet you will no longer have any control over what happens, nor who turns up, nor how many turn up...
