OT-aholes in Texas OAG office...submit payment within 5 days, but they can't tell you how much???
These f#$%$#5ing aholes in Texas are just pathetic. One of the letters DH received just states that he is "behind on CS" and to SUBMIT PAYMENT within 5 days. DH calls and the idiot can't tell him HOW MUCH he needs to submit. The freaking letter doesn't say how much he has to submit. It's not cut and dry because he had overpaid and the crappy online information THEY CLAIM is not correct...so WHAT THE HELL is he supposed to do? They told him yesterday, call tomorrow...wait for us to send you another letter telling you exactly how much you owe...but the f#$%^5ing letter he says 5 days! But the idiot on the phone says "you have until the end of the month"...really? If we take this to a lawyer a judge would say "the letter said 5 days" and the aholes at CSE would say they never told us end of the month. I am just ready to tell these people off. It is absolutely pathetic that tax dollars are spent on such an incompetent group of aholes!

Maybe your lawyer can help? I would think 5 days means 5 days. Please tell me that wasn't a supervisor...if not ask for one or better yet go up there. Ugh! I'm so glad DH doesn't have to pay CS.

We can't go up there...we live out of the country...argh! This CS crap should end soon, it should have actually freaking ended! We checked yesterday and if we pay a lawyer it is more than we could possibly pay in CS...it just makes me SICK that these aholes can get away with telling you to PAY UP and then not have to tell you HOW MUCH TO FREAKING PAY UP!

Ask for a supervisor, if that doesn't work, their supervisor...just keep calling until you get the information you need. All calls should be recorded make sure you get either the first and last name of every one you talk to or the first name and ID and mark the date and time of the call and what was said. If they tell you that you have 30 days but the letter clearly says 5 days they can pull the call and listen to it.

Yep…the AG’s office is the most un organized, irresponsible organization I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. And I am CP.
The only thing they did right was to stop CS for my ex when it was time and they also stopped DH’s when it was time. No problem. BUUUT…that was about the only thing they did correctly.

Yes, he does have a witholding order but it contains the MONTHLY amount...remember he was "ahead" so, what is truly owed, NOBODY knows and they can't tell us over the phone or so they claim...they'll send him some other note...sure, meanwhile, there go the 5 freaking days! Heck, he even told the idiots yesterday to tell him how much he owed total until the freaking 13 SEPT so he could just pay it and get them out of his hair...they wouldn't...aholes!
PS - and NO, we are NOT going to guess and then overpay because YOU KNOW we will NEVER see that money again!
