Sorry Charlie

Dh has been pitching a man size fit all week. Due to my kids activities and schedule changes we are gone Tuesday - Friday and spend most of Saturday at their activities or fundraising for their activities. The only night we are home is Monday so I cook a proper dinner, it's not my fault that is boy scout night and dh doesn't get home till after 8. Scouts is 7 to 8 and he has to go pick ss up from bms after work so he has no time to eat at home and dh loves home cooked food. Since he complained about the crockpot meals I stopped making them. I'm doing easy meals like cheese quesadillas and sandwiches or soup for dinner. I've lost 8 pounds since they started these activities Blum 3 ! Anywhoos, dh is throwing down and saying we need to limit their activities back to karate, all of the kids because he is sick of me never being home. I told him sorry but he changed the rules and my dds and I are enjoying it. I suggested he do a third activity with ss. }:)

Agree with you 100%! NO way would I change my kids activities for this reason. He'll get over it. Kudos to 8 lb wieght loss!

Sucks to suck DH. Hold strong. You know that when he says "the kids" need to be limited he means only your daughters.

"we need to limit their activities back to karate"

Did he ask for his stepdad's permission before he suggested this?

He doesn't need to ask permission because what he really means is "Your daughters need to be limited back to one activity". Do you really think he expects precious SS to be held to the same standard?

Poor baby, crock pot meals aren't good enough for him. good for you standing your ground. If DH loves him a home cooked meal, well then, he can learn how to cook. In the meantime, your kids get to enjoy their activities just like SS.

By the way, crock pot meals are no different than any other and often times, better! I made the BEST pulled pork in my crock pot the other night. The male in my life LOVED it.

Did DH ever get his bonus? How is he relationship with step dad? Hopefully no contact.
