So bf has been at the office all morning getting all the paperwork he needs to submit his BAH package. The good news is, he spoke to someone today (I forget his rank), but he said that they cannot take his BAH money away for 60 days from the date of the final decree. So that gives my bf 48 days of having his BAH and hopefully within that timeframe his BAH should be approved. He has to apply with it without dependents though because he does not have SD for 90 days or more, and so of right now he is not paying CS. So bf will lose $200 - $300 a month, but luckily, due to the place we picked for rent, bf is saving almost $300 on rent since we are splitting it, so nothing detrimental. Plus there should be no issue of it being approved since they have about 90 new guys coming in of lower rank that they need the barracks for, so crossing our fingers that there will be no lapse and everything will be fine and dandy.

Not much pertaining to step life, but figured it is helpful for anyone who’s SO could be military and not quite divorced yet, well I guess anyone who is a marine because the other branches don’t mess with their enlisted like they do. Also, I like to share positive news when I can. I know I like reading other people’s positive news when it is posted, so hopefully others enjoy mine at least a little!
