Dumbass Strikes Again!

frustratedstepdad's picture

I finally thought things were good. SD24 had just moved into an apartment with her boyfriend and son that is 2 hours away. Last week we just got back from a fantastic clothing-optional vacation in Mexico. Life was good.

Last night we find out that SD24 is pregnant.

FUCK!!!!!

Her and her boyfriend are excited about it. DW is on the fence about it, and I just think it's a dumb idea. Her boyfriend literally just got off probation on Aug 1st, and has NEVER had a job before in his life. Neither one of them have a drivers license, and they barely make ends meet and have to count on government assistance.

One of my stepdaughters has literally been pregnant every year since I've moved here. One of them just gave birth in April. Why in the hell should I be excited about another kid that we'll have to help support???

O.M.G.!!! These girls are the train wrecks that just keep on derailing. I am so sorry for you, this is guaranteed NOT to end well and you and your DW will be the ones cleaning up the mess as always. Sad

That's the worst part. Another kid born to parents who could barely graduate high school and would rather be on welfare than work.

Condoms are cheaper than diapers....but apparently they don't understand the math LOL.

Hahahaha. Oh I do still wish we were in Mexico.....trust me.....*sigh*

Well, my dumbass 16 y/o son is going to be a dad any day now. I told him that I'd help him and support him, THIS TIME, but that if it happens again, I am ridding myself of him forever. He knows I'm not kidding either. How many Step grandkids do you have? It sounds like there are a LOT of them.

This will be the 10th grandkid that has been born since I moved here, and number 12 overall. I don't understand how these dumbasses can't figure out how to use a condom.

Damn dude, my sympathies. My dumbass knows how to use a condom he was just in denial about what happens if he didn't use one. There you have it folks! He has chosen the hardest way to learn life's lessons. At this point, I'm seriously just like "Do you bad boy." Let's see what else he can get himself into.

I know it is probably not your choice but the more you "help" them, the less incentive they have to help themselves. By...I don't know...getting a JOB like MOST people do!

Unfreakingreal's picture

Well I don't know about the OP but my method of help is making sure my son finishes HS and then goes to college. I figure, if he gets an education, he will be able to find a job and in turn be able to help himself.

Foreverstacey - not yet! Believe me, you will ALL know when that baby comes because I will post an update. I'm sure she'll be popping in (or out) within the next week or so.

Growupplease - yup, DNA kit already arrived. It is in my drawer awaiting the birth so I can swab, swab, swap & mail.

Forever - oh me too. I'm 98% sure it's his. I just need to be 100% sure, for his protection. It's really just me, protecting him. There's no harm in being sure.

You know, I am beginning to think your wife's daughters are ultra-fertile. Any guy who sneezes in the same room as them and they get pregnant!
