Will she ever go away?!?!

MY SD12 is with us full-time while her BM "clears her head". It's been 4 months now and 4 more months that I have to put up with this crap. It could be longer, because the schedule goes by what BM's therapist thinks she should do. The therapist thinks BM shouldn't have the daughter because...because...because...OK, nobody knows this answer because no one has asked WHY?!?! So, I'm putting my son to bed the other night, leave his room, go into my room and bathroom...my only sanctuary in the house...the only place that is MINE and here comes SD12 out of my bathroom. She needed to "shave her legs" and can't do it in her own bathroom because it is just a shower stall. Yes...she has her own bathroom. Turns out, she was told to use my bathroom and not the hall bathroom so she didn't wake up my kids. I don't care what the reason is, that's my bathroom and who I choose to share it with is my business. After the whole episode, I ended up having to scrub my tub because she left grimy hair in it. Like I don't do enough all day with a 2 year old and a newborn, I have to clean up her gross mess. I just can't take it sometimes. I do realize that if it were my own daughter, I wouldn't care one bit, I don't like SD and I don't want her around my stuff. Has anyone else felt like slapping their SKids because you just can't stand to look at them? She is lazy and a snob. In fact, at dinner tonight, she was talking about how her gym teacher is so "stupid" because she can't do a layup in basketball. Come on...the teacher is 50 years old and not a basketball player. I'm 31 and I couldn't do a layup...does that make me stupid. I'd love to see SD do a layup...I'd call her stupid. I don't even look at her anymore.

we also have sd8 full time till our BM decides she can "handle her". SHe has had it tough. SHe also sees a therapist and has all types of problems..depression, bipolar, lupus, arthertis, bersistis, migranes, hum...and the list goes on. Im sure my spelling is off..but im sure you get the message. Anything not to be a parent. But she feels fine when there is a sale at target. I could go on and on.

ANyway I also get po'd when SD comes into my room and goes through my things. I put my foot down about this a long time ago. DONT TOUCH MY STUFF...period. End of story.
Stick to your guns on this. You need your own space!
Good luck

When my own Bio kid comes in and leaves my bathroom a mess I have a heart attack as well so you probably would get pissed anyway cuz like you said you have other stuff to do besides cleaning up other people's messes. I agree with Dlover just don't touch my stuff period!!!! A sale at target girl you crack me up. Our BM is always crying broke but she spends her money on stuff and has their apartment loaded up cuz it was on sale but she is broke! Oh PLEASE!

I still sometimes have the feeling. I think it changed for me when I decided to get to know her on a deeper level. Now, that is extremely hard for SD b/c she is bi-polar and BPD and has a very hard time letting people in. BUT, only occassionally do I have those thoughts now. Maybe you could call her out on her snobbish behavior? I would have also made HER clean the mess, or DH!
