The girls are mirror images. Lena is left handed and Jaden is right handed. It drives my son crazy when they put their heads together and start talking gibberish. I keep telling him it's twin speak because they talk great. They have a better vocabulary than most people I know. I'm just glad that they decided to dress them differently from each other and let them grow into individuals.

Your grandbabies are adorable!

And God bless you for rescuing animals. Anyone who loves animals enough to rescue / foster them is a truly kind soul!

It took me 3yrs to get it that long again. It was long enough to almost reach my knees. When it gets that long I have it cut short and donate my hair to Locks For Love. It's a great group that makes wigs for children that have lost their hair from illness. Last spring we had a very bad wind storm that knocked down several birds nests. I ended up with 2 baby robins, 1 bluejay and 4 wood thrush. I've lost count of how many turtles we've rehabbed. Right now I have a 2 legged box turtle that we rescued 5 yrs ago. He looks kind of funny since he has wheels in the rear. Our vet is super, she helped us design his rear wheel drive.

Scooter has special nubby tires for when he goes outside. It's hilarious watching him when he's in the outside pen. Most people don't realize how dangerous it is for a turtle to try and cross a road. The first squirrel that I rehabbed was an orphan. His mother had been hit by a car carrying him across a street and he was injured. He had a broken leg and had to have half his tail amputated. It was easier for him to adapt since he was a baby when it happened. Over the years I've had dozens of critters in my house.
