Yes, yes, yes.  This is exactly what we need.  And I'd add, get rid of attorneys entirely, or only employ attorneys who are committed to a model like this.  The minute an attorney gets involved, everything becomes adversarial.

I think if we'd had something like this in our situation, SS would have been able to successfully enjoy 50/50 custody.  I think BM in our situation would have been workable if someone had approached the issue in this manner. Instead, he lost 3.5 years of time with his father and was undoubtedly damaged in the process.
