On the off chance that Thunderfoot is actually NOT interrupting our conversation, she's eavesdropping. The conversations aren't anything important because I know better than to say anything of value in front of her if it doesn't concern her...just general conversation. Then when she doesn't catch all of it or feels like she should be included... she butts in. DH was telling me that he found a dead mouse out in the garage. He was working on the car and it must have gotten in the engine and died. It fell out when he was working on it and he just mentioned it to me during conversation. I KNOW she heard everything that he said and there was really no reason to have to repeat it 20 times. "OMG what did you say? You found a dead mouse?" DH--"Yes out in the garage in the car." TF--"OMG! In the car really?!?! What part of the car? When did you find it." He says the exact same thing to her again. "Yes, under the hood of the car the other day." Then again she says,"IN THE CAR? Really?" I turned to her and said,"Are you just not listening or do you just like the sound of your own voice? He has said IN THE CAR 3 times now!" She finally got it and shut up. Then not 5 minutes later we were talking about the Derby. DH had bet on it and the #10 horse screwed his bet up. Again I KNOW she heard the conversation because she was in the room with us. It starts ALL over again. "You bet what? You lost why?" That went on for about 5 minutes. I had to just get up and leave the room before I screamed at her. She does that shit all the time. I get asking a question but over and over and over just annoys the hell out of me. My mom would have popped me in the mouth for asking the same question a million times, especially when the conversation had zero to do with me.
