DD's Bio-dad

The meeting went so well that she ended up staying the night with them for two nights. She seems to really like them all. Biggrin I'm so happy-leaved. (that's happy and relieved)

He wrote back

Got a text from DD Bio-Dad. Says he wants to meet up with her while we're in town and text him when we get into town to work something out. I guess as long as it's on my dime and not his, he wants a r/s. I haven't told DD; I don't want a repeat of last year. I think I'll arrange to meet up at a park or something, that way if he doesn't show, so far as DD is concerned, we just had a good time at a park.

Will be in BioDad's town. To contact or not to contact.

So, about this time last year, this happened: http://www.steptalk.org/node/116719

That is the last time I or my daughter had contact with him. DD hasn't said anything directly about seeing him, but I know she's still a combination of many emotions including hurt, hopeful, and curious. She recently asked me if there was a chance we might run into him sometime while we were visiting said town. I told her anything is possible. But yeah, she definitely still thinks about it.

When to let go

Early into my relationship with Husb. (before we were married), we almost imploded. I had an emotional affair and he had a physical affair. We worked it out and moved on. He demanded I sever all ties with the other guy in question, which I understood and did. He, on the other hand, refused to end the "friendship" with his affair partner.

Since then, I've let it go. I don't bring it up, and I sure as hell never throw it in his face. He, on the other hand, seems to have never gotten over it. He has brought it up numerous times, and even called me a slut in the heat of the moment.

I am really disgusted at husband's attitude toward animals.

Christmas time last year, husb fellin love with a Walmart parking lot free puppy. Turns out, they grow into dogs and require time, money, and attention. Who'd ever have thought?

He refused to get rid of the dog unless I got rid of one of my cats (that I brought into the relationship). The only one that was re-homable was my savannah.

Husb just fell I'm love with another puppy.
