From the mouth of babes about work.

I am a criminal defense attorney, more specifically a public defender. When we're in public, generally my clients don't approach me beause you don't want to know Ms. Diamonds, because if you do, you must be a criminal defendant. But sometimes people do approach me in public and everytime it happens FSD11 knows it's someone from work just intuitively.

For lunch today we went out and got hamburgers, since she's on spring break. Her, FH, and I are sitting around eating and one of my clients comes up to try to talk to me about his case. Super inappropriate, I'm with my family and it's my lunch break and you're bugging me. But I'm nice to him, tell him I'll see him at 1:30 and we can talk about it more. He sits down.

FSD11 (very loudly): WHAT'D HE DO!!?????!!!

I guess if you want everyone in the burger place to not know you're facing criminal charges it's probably not a great idea to try to speak to her in public in front of her kid.
