The Marriage

I've been trying to patch this mess back together for a long while...I don't know why. I guess I do still love him. But it's truly not working, as he is unwilling to participate. I'm supposed to make it all better, while he sits on his ass and plays with his phone.

I've asked him to go to counselling; he refuses. I've tried to talk; I get screamed at. It sucks.

OT - Feeling Like a Martyr and Need to Vent

AAARRRGGGHHHH!! Why exactly do men feel that women are responsible for EVERYTHING????

I work full-time as a secretary, sort of. I do alot more than that...I am in construction, so many times I'm a project manager, collections agent, and I am without a doubt the "office Mom". I clean up everyone's mess, remind people of appointments, etc. I was due for a raise in September, and my boss finally got around to discussing it in late October. I told him what I wanted (not nearly enough, but times are hard, and I'm not greedy), and he said he'd get back to me. He never did.

SD24 From Hell

So, last night...out of the blue, for no apparent reason, DH gets the following 8 (EIGHT) texts in a span of 12 minutes:

You are a pathetic excuse for a parent. I hope your truck falls into the pool again. Where's your conscience? How can you let your own flesh and blood

struggle like this? You are an asshole and I wish nothing but the worst for you and your fucked up nasty bitch wife

You are no better than A*** (*note-her heroin addict baby daddy) you guys would make great friends...Reproduce and let them struggle. Fuck you

The Dog

I'm not sure if this is OT (and/or silly), but I need to vent anyway.

About 1 1/2 years ago, I interviewed and was offered a job that I really thought was promising. It was a few miles from home, and just seemed like a great place to work, which it is. However, the owner brings his dog to work just about every day. I'm allergic. I decided to suck it up and sniffle, sneeze, and take antihistamines until a better job came along, or I couldn't take it anymore. Lo and behold, I can now tolerate the dog just fine. She is very very sweet, and a fun dog to be around.

The Car

I haven't posted in a long time. Last time, when my nasty (adult) stepbrats stormed my house and threatened my life, I was called a Drama Queen for being frightened and needing support. This time I'm just amazed.
