OT- Licking Paper
Just a little vent. We have department meetings once a week. An agenda is usually given to all attendees.
One of my fellow co-workers always seems to volunteer to pass out the agenda. Great right? No? She puts her finger in her mouth and LICKS every paper she passes to someone. Either get a rubber thumb or don't pass the paper out.
A few of us have tried to politely tell her not to lick the papers. She says ok and still does it. I am going to make a suggestion that my supervisor either lay the agenda on the table or let someone else pass them out. Heck email it and let us print it.
I know some may feel I'm being petty, but germs are real.

Thank you!!! I told her how people are dying from the flu and she said that always happens. I said not like this year. Watch the news. Then I got a dissertation as to why she doesn't watch the news.

I don't think it's petty, at all.
I refuse to eat anything one of my co-workers makes because of her nails. They are bitten so far down, she hardly has ANY nail on her nail bed. I try not to touch anything that she has touched, she obviously has her fingers in her mouth a lot. So gross. And, she does the licking of papers, too.
I walked into a hair salon
I walked into a hair salon for a quick trim without an appointment. There was only one lady doing hair at the time. She had SUPER long nails and they were filthy. Part of me was thinking maybe it was from hair dye but I wasn't taking the chance. I told her that I forgot I had to be somewhere and walked out.

I don't think some people
I don't think some people realize how unsanitary their nails can be. I wash my hands and use hand sanitizer all day long. I wipe my desk down everyday.

With some Lysol spray to spritz down the agenda after she lays it on table. Offer to pass the Lysol around the table. Buy a large can and keep it on the table next to a vat of hand sanitizer. Refuse to touch anything she licked. Including doorknobs, coffee pots, etc.
