Well it all started Thursday night. We went out for dinner with SD16.

After dinner we decided (wrong move) to go to MIL's. We wanted to drop off SD's things for the weekend this way she did not have to bring it to school with her. Well when we got there we were there a whole 10min before SIL came in (drama begins). My DH and I stay in the basement with FIL (I like him) and SIL never comes down. Well this time she did and explained to DH in these exact words....

"I am taking mom to the emergency room, she has been sick all day long and she will not be able to take SD so your trip is off" :jawdrop:

I was beside myself, felt my blood start to boil just looked at DH and was like WTF!!!!

My DH was in a state of shock. Now MIL is cooking dinner, she has not been feeling well and went to Dr. and was waiting for results. Those result were not in and her PCP was not getting back to SIL. Well I am a PA dumb bitch so i ask where she went for blood work and her date of birth. SIL says why? I tell her I can get her results faxed to my work I will call for them check out blood work and maybe save you a trip....if looks could kill I would be dead...She tells me well...welll.welllllll....i called her Dr. and she is getting back to me. So i tell her we will wait with you...Dr. calls blood results are normal but tell SIL go into ER just for a EKG. So SIL takes her to the ER. I ask SIL if she was sick all day why didn't you call Dr. earlier. She tells me MIL did not want to go. So she would rather sit in ER for 8 hours, she just gave me a dirty look. So of course DH is worried sick telling me if she gets admitted we will have to cancel. I was LIVID!!!!!!! I knew SIL did this because of SD16 not wanting us to go.

Long story short she did not get admitted, SIL told DH she should of and i tried but they said it was not necessary (of course it wasnt) but she felt we should still not go just in case. DH disagreed and said mom is fine everything is good MIL told DH keep SD here she can help me thats fine. SIL was bullshit!!!!

So Friday morning we stopped by MIL, she told us she was feeling much better and to have a great time. We left at 9am.....DH was worried and did not shut off phone Friday so of course 9PM got call from SD to see if we were having a good time. DH said yes we are, grandma ok, SD said I think so, DH said good I'm shutting off my phone talk to you Sunday morning. SD said ahhh...ahhh....ahhhh, DH said love you BYE!!!!!!!

I was so happy..Remainder of weekend was AWESOME!!!!! We didn't get back till 7pm Sunday...It was amazing..SD klung the rest of the night with him but at that point I didn't even mind at all....We had an amazing time and made plans for our next one, which isnt till the end of may but thats OK...I'll take it!!!!

It was pretty sad we had to go through sooo much just to get a weekend away.....I do not understand it at all!!!!
