and DH has covid

He tested positive today. Likely exposed due to his going out with a bunch of people last week several times.

So now he's isolating, and work for Xmas is back on me. YSD doesn't know yet and she's going to freak out.

He's calling telehealth line now. After trying to rationalize his positive result.

Yeah I know! He just tried to have ME tell YSD that he has it. Eff no!

So she's likely not going to come upstairs at all.

The best thing is I get the bubbly all to myself. I should have bought that carbonated wine stopper!

Sounds like the LAST thing you need is the stopper, lol!

LoL. I don't think I'll need it tonight.

I told DH that what I really want is a nice hotel room by myself starting tomorrow, with a spa treatment.

But I need to care for my elderly cat who is the BEST and that's the only thing stopping me.

Then give you DuH a tent to sleep in the garden and "rationalize" it by telling him the cold will kill the virus...

Yeah I finished it last night. Headache this morning but not feeling too terrible, lots of water and it took me 4 hours so it wasn't like I guzzled it. Not really wanting more today! LOL.

DH was in bed at 8, YSD has refused to come upstairs at all and is eating only in her room. I unplugged the tree as I slept on the couch last night (my cat was so happy!). YSD hasn't come up today. She was discussing it with BM last night and asked me what she should do (she wanted to go to BMs). It's 10 am. I told DH I'd drop her off if that's what they decide because she doesn't care about Xmas and now won't be participating at all in anything since DH needs to keep to himself. No gifts have been opened.

We also found out that BM had it this past year, did YSD run to DH? Nope! She had no problem staying with BM until her scheduled time with DH.

And then DH is mad that I'm not in some sunny fun mood.
