This weekend was - interesting. I feel great that I had a big talk with Munchkin SD12.5, but not great that I spent a big chunk of change on her Sunday afternoon.

My issue currently with Munchkin is that she doesnt listen or help. She always just wants to sit on her behind and eat and text and watch things on her phone. The entire time. Its to the point where she does this at restaurants. DH sometimes tells her "no phone", sometimes not.

My latest struggle culminated when I left for an hour after asking her to feed and water pets. We have a dog and two rabbits. Thats basically her only chore, besides 1 day in 5 washing the dishes, and keeping her room clean.Which she has stared leaving dishes in her room like Toxic Feral. I did mention to her as a reminder: "you recall how I threw up while cleaning Toxic Feral Eldests room, dont you? And youll be gone for 5 days at your mothers, so please dont leave dishes in your room." Her reply was funny:"Toxic Feral Eldest's room right now is WAY WORSE!!!!" lol. She hasnt changed at all, just works a job and comes to the apartment and eats and sleeps.

When I came home, and the one basic chore wasnt done, I lost it. I told her "you know how I am ALWAYS there for you when you need help with something? How I always just physically stop what Im doing and help you? And you always have some exuse, or are on your phone - which I pay half of every month - or you forget or say youll do it later. I do not appreciate you always blowing me off!" That was it. I didnt say anything else, but got the silent treatment-frowny-face until it was time to go to the comic book conference. 

Paid almost $30 bucks for us all to get in, bought her a pin, and got to hear how boring it was. No thank yous or anything. 

So, that seals it. No more expensive dinners, no more outings unless DH decides to pay for it. Now that I will be making more money, I will be certain to spend it on myself. This past weekend, I got a pedicure, bought some nice sunglasses, and bought myself roses. I needed some TLC, and wasnt getting it, so I got it for myself. And Im already planning fun things to do, and things I need. Its been cold, I need some new clothes. Munchkin was going to get a feather comforter. That somehow disappeared. Munchkin was wanting a notepad, and that disappeared too! Wow, things I planned on getting her, and doing for her are somehow starting to disappear!!!!
