They're back.....

My boys returned home from their Dad's house this past Friday and we will be switching off every other week through out the summer. DH has been in a foul mood since they've been home. I was of course excited to see my boys and I was also excited to have some time with just my boys and DH. This never happens, we have skids 24/7 and my boys are only with us 50% of the time. I haven't spent time alone with my boys in quite a while.

My EXH responded to the petition to modify last week. He is representing himself which is good since I am too. He responded saying he contested the petition (no surprise) and he wishes to move the boys back to his school district, and keep our current visitation schedule the same with me doing 100% of the driving.....

My ex was served two weeks ago and he hasn't done anything so far. Hasn't said a peep to me. Hasn't filed a response. He has until the 16th to respond, so we will wait.. Boys have been with him this past week, I get them back tomorrow and we will see if they have been brainwashed by the ex and his buck toothed bride to be...

All of our kids have been gone for 2 weeks at grandparents houses. My boys are coming home tonight and I am sooooo ready to see them. It will also be nice to spend some time with just them. My skids are at their grandmas for another week. I very rarely get time with just them since we have skids 24/7.

Recap: My ex wants to move my boys back to his school district. After emailing back and forth with my ex about the situation, he has drawn a line in the sand. He wants them in his district and I want them in mine, where they are currently enrolled.

I filed a petition to modify today. I am going for full custody for these reasons:

First to recap... I have been really trying with SD4. She's not giving me much in return, but I am really trying. DH has noticed and he told me he appreciates my efforts. I have been really trying to include her, and communicate with her, and I am trying to slowly build a relationship with her. She has taken baby steps, still ignores me most of the time... it's okay, I'm gonna keep trying.

It's my birthday! I'm 28 and I feel like my 20's are flying by!!

I called our home phone today, which I very rarely do, I was returning ds's call. It went to voice mail and guess who's voice I heard... Yep BM's!! I called DH and told him that better change tonight, they have been divorced for 3 freakin years, why the hell is she still on voice mail??? Whatever, it's my party and I'll drink if I want to... Cheers ladies, heres to the last 2 years of my 20's!!
