Or is it all just spam? I've been marking them all as offensive, but if there is actually a stressed out SM posting in German I am going to feel bad!

OT - SO is asking my parents for my hand in marriage tonight!
OK that sounded very old fashioned haha.
SO and I have been together almost 3.5 years. We went ring shopping 6 months ago and he finally went and designed one about a month ago (I know because I had to go get sized).
I am a bit old fashioned in some ways, and my parents are old school italian and would be DEVASTATED if he proposed without talking to them (they have both told me).
I made it VERY CLEAR he needed to talk to my parents first, and then his daughters, before he asked.
50th bday party a success, 3 day break from MIL!
As some of you may remember, SO's 50th bday dinner was a minor disaster....BM1 came and acted all weird. Saw BM the next day for pickup and kept my distance. Meanwhile, my mother also flew in Thursday night for SO's 50th bday party. She stayed at a hotel since we had Future MIL, SD14 and SD11 all staying with us. My mom, thank god, is great. Mostly normal/rational, positive, helpful.....I was very happy to have her there.

WEIRD 50th Birthday Dinner
Well for those who remember, my SO was an idiot and invited his Ex-wife, BM1, to our family 50th bday dinner. His mother (my future MIL) is visiting us from England and has kept me SO BUSY that I completely forgot to text BM allowing her to bow out gracefully. Yesterday, a few hours before dinner, I remembered and texted her to try and give her an out:

F OFF FRIDAY RANT AHEAD:
I am SO PISSED and frustrated and hurt by SO. Things have been great with us, for the most part. We've been together 3.5 years almost, and he bought my engagement ring last Friday (I know because he told me and I had to go in and get sized). He's been very excited, talking about getting married, etc nonstop since then.
