So last night during dinner I get a text and glance at my phone.  Ugh, Bratty McBratFace.  We have not communicated dierectly since I disengaged last year. At that time I told her I disliked her, disliked spending time with her, and was disengaging.  So not a lot of grey area in other words.

One of my perks at work are free Disneyland tickets from time to time.  Brattys text started like we were old chums.  'Heard DL was reopening, how great.  Are you guys planning to go soon'  And then just 'Hope you've been doing well'.

WTF.

I ignored the DL comment and gave a grey rock response text this morning (hopefully woke her lazy butt up early he he) saying Thanks I'm well and hope the same for you. Ignored the DL comment altogether as it's none of her bees wax if we're going or not.  She sure ain't invited.

After I disengaged last year Bratty made a big stink about not visiting because she didn't feel comfortable.  Um, that's a feature not a bug for me.

I suspect she is setting the stage to ask for a visit. She was applying to more post-bac programs after she failed at the first one and I think SO said one of the schools was in our area.  So she probably wants to visit the school and wants free shelter for a few days.  Another program was in the midwest near her grandma and she made the same request of grandma (who said no until she's vaccinated as she's 87 years old).

I have not said Bratty can't visit but made it clear I won't be hosting and SO is responsible for all food, meals and entertainment and I will likely not participate.  

So we'll see if a request comes floating in from Bratty in the next couple of months...
