Nice Try BM...

Yesterday SS was acting a little strange with his phone. I can see that BM had been texting him through out the day. But I can't see WHAT is said unless I look in his phone.

So, we are watching the baseball games yesterday when SS is being a little secretive about his phone. So, I do what most moms would do... and tell him to let me see his phone. He hands it over.

Funny, we don't hear from her for weeks. MONTHS sometimes... but this week she can't help herself.

After posting about being the "OG **MY LAST NAME**" she has since text DH several times, emailed him twice, and called him twice. OK LADY, HE DOESN'T CARE that you are in the hospital and he doesn't want to talk to you. One of her messages asked if we would take SS to see her in the hospital. UMMMM, NO. GO AWAY.

She is still in the hospital. NO signs of the surgery her mom claimed she was having but she told someone she has an infection in her jaw.

BM back on the crazy train... and in the hospital.

So... BM has been pretty quiet lately. She will text SS every few days. Attempt to call him. He will talk to her for about 30 seconds and make some excuse to get off the phone.

Yesterday, DH gets an email "Just letting you know, and if you see fit please tell SS that I am staying the night in the hospital. I had a CT scan".

What an AMAZING week with DH <3

Well, we are home and what an amazing week! If you ever have the chance to go to Hilton Head South Carolina, DO IT! It was so peaceful and beautiful. Spent a few days laying on the beach. Went hiking, had great food, great drinks and a lot of alone time with DH!!! Surprise went off without a hitch and he was happy to see his mom (as crazy as she is sometimes, it is still his mom and he missed her). We drive her back to the airport after work today.

Leaving Tomorrow for a Lovely Week Long Vaca :)

Oh man am I ready to have my buns in the sand and drink in my hand!

I came in to work to get things all squared away today. Our flight leaves at 630 am tomorrow and we will be on our way to Hilton Head, SC Smile While we are gone my mom will be at our house prepping it for DH's 40th Surprise BDay party. He has not a clue that the chores I had him doing Saturday were for his very own party LOL.

So, DownSouth's comment on a response I posted earlier, questioned if BM could legally receive cash aid if she doesn't have custody of a child. She had assured me that she didn't claim SS. I stupidly didn't look any further in to it.

Well, I looked it up. This is clearly one of the requirments: "Be taking care of at least one child who is under the age of 18 (or 19, if expected to graduate from high school before his or her 19th birthday)"

So, I reported her for fraud. I hope they call me. I will throw her under ALLLL of the buses.

Starting to really believe that BM is stalking us...

First she shows up at DH's work a few weeks ago, then SS's school that same day. Now yesterday, my girls were walking down to the store on the corner. There are a few restaurants and such in that parking lot. We have seen BM sitting in that parking lot in the past because there is a McDonalds there and she uses their free wifi. But that was when she lived in our town, and still saw SS. When my girls got home, I was grateful that SS decided not to go with them because they saw BM in the parking lot. My oldest said she saw them and started to leave but her car died.

BM's Ex-Best Friend Text me last night...

SS and this gals son have been really good friends since kindergarten. That's how BM and her became friends. She is a single mom, and she works her ass off for her kids. She is a little rough around the edges but really, a very good person. She REALLY loves Jesus. I've always liked that she was in BM's life, she kept her somewhat grounded. It was obvious that they have grown apart over the past couple of years. She moved about an hour away (same town that BM's dad lives in) and SS really misses his friend.

Not a peep about Rehab...

BM was supposed to start yesterday...

She did text DH and SS and told them both that she got car insurance. And told SS to let her know when he wants her to pick him up for lunch or to hang out. SS didn't respond.

She apparently forgot about the whole "supervised visits only" thing, and I still wouldn't let him in a car with her, just for the mere fact that she has a shattered windshield... among other things. Her car breaks down every other day, and she has to start it with a screw driver.

DH and I have been married 7 years today. 12 years ago today, he asked me to be his wife. I said yes immediately but we took our time. We knew we loved each other enough, but wanted to make sure the whole "blended family" thing wasn't going to cut our marriage short. Looking back, I wish we hadn't waited so long, but at the same time, things happened exactly how they were supposed to.
