Soooooooo.....what do you think of THIS?

boogeymom's picture

Well, it seems like the Skids forgot the rule of they "must sign out of Boogeymom's Netflix account on ALL of their devices as soon as they leave the house," which they did not, and thusly, having recently checked my Instant Watch queue, I was able to see what they had been watching for the entire week and a half they've been signed in.

Know what's fun? When DH has a fight with one of his Semen Demons and then takes it out on me!

Yes, DH and SS11 just had a blowout because SS11 is now so addicted to technology that he "neeeeds it to fall asleep!" The iPods are confiscated at bed time because it has been well established that they will stay up until 3:00 in the morning playing apps ("I'll only listen to the music" they say). SS11's favorite thing to do is fight grown-ups at every turn, so tonight was no different. Afterwards, DH came storming upstairs and started tossing stuff around talking about "Something needs to be done witht this fucking house." Pretty much apropos of nothing at all.

If I hear another silly-ass excuse...

I swear, just when I thought I'd heard some silly-ass excuses from SS13, I heard the silliest one yet recently. So, he's on restriction from pretty much anything electronic until the next grading period ends (or until BM gets tired of hearing him whine and gives them back to him...so maybe another week) because he got a D in Spanish.

It's just annoying.

I don't know what happened today that the skids thought it would be a good idea to accompany me on my outing around the neighborhood to post flyers for a lost dog I found. Irritating as heck. I mostly just wanted to take this little lost dog I found on a walk with me while I posted her flyers since she was so sweet and well-behaved, and my chihuahua had already been for a walk so he wasn't using his leash and collar. I should've left her in my yard since I know that's the ONLY reason the skids even wanted to tag along.

I'm just going to wait and see what happens.

So, one thing about SS11 is that he grazes all day like a cow in a field. I'm going to wait and see how many foods/drinks he opens/fixes and then leaves on the kitchen table half eaten/drank (drunk?) by the time we take them back to BM's later on this evening (aka the most wonderful time of the week for me).

Stay Klassy, SS11

boogeymom's picture

Why is it that SS11 insists on stripping down to his boxers the second he hits the house and never putting clothes on again, even at meal times? I don't want to see all that. I've started telling him now at 11 that I don't want to see all that because it'll take him until he's 25 to actually listen, but apparently this is no big deal to DH. He tells him one time to go down and put some clothes on for meals, SS11 naturally pretends like DH doesn't even exist and does exactly what he wants to do, the end. Trying so hard not to care, but really?

Teenaged boys are the most disgusting things on earth

boogeymom's picture

Why oh why do teenage boys have SUCH a problem with taking showers? Is it just my skids, or do other people have this problem too? DH has been telling SS13 to take a shower for at least 3 hours now. He just left to take them home and SS13 STILL hasn't showered AND put his clothes on OVER his disgusting footie pajamas he's been wearing for the last few days because he's been actually sick (not fake sick like he is most of the time), so technically, he didn't even get dressed today.

Hypochondriac Harry...part shi: you cried wolf one too many times

boogeymom's picture

Lord, HypoHarry, you cried "wolf" one too many times. Now HH actually IS sick, but because he's fakes so many illnesses/injuries, especially in the last couple of months, DH and I can't be bothered to care about it. PS, those were the actual words DH said as HypoHarry kept walking up and down the stairs, shuffling about, waiting for us to give him attention. It's only a cold, but you'd think SS13 has bubonic plague.

I've noticed something interesting in the last few weeks...

boogeymom's picture

So, after officially deciding that I care too much, thus making the choice to pretty much completely withdraw from helping DH rear his two stupid crybaby brats (it's taken a lot of biting my tongue...I'm surprised I still even have one left), I've noticed something. Well, actually I already knew it, but it was strongly confirmed by just becoming an observer rather than being involved. His kids have ZERO respect for him, and, in fact, basically treat him like one giant joke.
