People with vision impairments often require high contrast for accessibility. Just lower the light on tablet or computer. Low contrast would restrict access for some. 

I agree! That would make it a bit easier on the eyes!

I find it easier to read.  I can actually read it on my phone without having to get my reading glasses. 

We can look at some other options but we are focusing on things that are broken or features that need to be added first.

I do not care for the white and find it overwhelming. But my biggest issues are:

1) Spacing issues makes it more difficult to read - I cannot see as much. I changed my View to 75%. While I can see MORE, the blue spaces on the side are almost 4 inches wide.

2) The white space on the right-hand side of the blogs/posts. Could THAT be changed to a less glaring color?? Looks like it's solely for advertisments.

3) No more Recent Comments on the left side.

Can the Recent Comments be placed in the blue space on the left (where they were in the old side?) and the advertisements moved to the blue space on the right side?? If so, the HUGE 2 inch glaring white on the right can be eliminated.

I miss the recent comments on the left side. It was a perfect way to stay involved with current blogs.

Plus my emoji's are not working. They are printing the words.

This bright white is hard on the eyes. 

I liked the way the old site was. Miss it.  Sorry, but I did like the old site better.  But maybe I’m just getting old and you can’t teach an old dog new tricks. LOL 

The Last Post column on the Forum page is hard to read, it's hard to see how old the last post is for each category, because the test is so big it takes up more than 1 line.

All our taglines/signatures are missing.
