Back from Vacation

Getting away was really great and no I did not obsess over things. I was able to relax and enjoy myself with my SO. All and all for our first trip together and away I will say we did good. We did not really fight he got a little tipsy the one evening and was being a drunk idiot and I had to pour out his drink. We were in Vegas so he went a little crazy.

SS still asking for me all the time and updates!

Things are starting to calm down pretty good here. The g-parents have finally moved about two a week ago. We had them over for dinner and it was nice but odd the g-dad was like ok i am tired lets go. Very odd goodbye. Oh well things have been peaceful and less stressful because we do not have to worry about going there to get stuff anymore or really deal with stuff. The g-mom does want to skype with SS but will call jsut randomly and than text saying hey I tried calling. Hopefully we can get them on a schedule or plan better to skype.

I make SO deal with it.

Yup 5 more days till the MIL and FIL are moving. I can not wait. Had a really big family gathering this Sunday for a baptism. It was nice and everyone was pretty good. All and all it was not bad MIL sat next to SS at the lunch afterwards and insisted on putting fried calamari on his plate I knew he was not going to eat it at all. I just ate it off his plate. For the most part he is a really good eater and will try all different things but not that one. She did her usual pick at him and nag on him.

This weekend kinda sucked.

So I had some struggles this weekend. Now that I am really in this with the whole thing. Some stuff and topics have come up. I have never wanted kids but now that I am around SS all the time I so see some stuff that I may not have. I do not know about his first tooth, or get to cuddle up close with him and hold him. He is too big for me to pick up and hold. There is a lot of things I have not experienced that my SO has. I never really cared but part of me thinks it could be nice have that experience of seeing a child grow from a baby. I tried talking to SO but he will never get it.

Well things my never change!

So this weekend SS had a foot ball game and my future in-laws all came, MIL, DIL, SIL and her new guy. Also my parents were there. Well my parents, I and SO and SS all planned to go to dinner to celebrate my b-day that is today. Early birthday dinner. My mom asked if she should invite them as no one knew they were coming to his game I said I do not care. Everyone came along. Well SIL and new guy came to our house after the game because we had to wait for SO to do his concession duty. SS wanted to ride with SIL. All great they walk off to their car and I got a ride with my parents.

I have heard some different views on here about this. It is a debate I have in my mind all the time and it something I am still not sure about pursuing. I will not do it right away anyway. I still need time for SO and I to find our footing and everything else going on. No we are not legally married we will be.

Some Update on everything!

I took SS8 to the doctor and guess what all SO had to do was sign a piece of paper giving my authorization. Well first a phone call and they sent me me home to get the paper signed. They saw us and discussed things with me. Rapid strep was negative so waiting on the lab to get back. I was told he gets strep two more times before December we will go see a specialist SO and I will both go. I think he is good still sore throat we will see.

My car broke down yesterday so that is fun. Nothing serious just something that has to get fixed.
