"The other woman"

Anon2009's picture

Two subjects came up here tonight that are very important to me. Cheating and being the other man/woman.

I believe that cheating on a partner reveals a lot about the cheater's character (in a negative way). Same about sleeping with someone who's in a relationship-knowingly. I've made many mistakes in life. I've lied. I've mistreated people. But, knock on wood, I've never cheated or knowingly slept with someone in a relationship.

LeAnn rimes

I read a bit about what's going on with her.

I think she has a lot of nerve to think Brandi or her remarks are "childish." LeAnn is the childish one for knowingly sleeping with a married man or to expect anything of Brandi.

Sometimes I think the men are the crazy, vindictive, screwed up ones...

Not the BMs.

Recently I read some news on guys who killed their exes/members of exes family. They didn't like the alimony they had to pay. They felt the ex took the kids. One man successfully killed his ex-mil and wounded his own child. He killed this child's grandma while the child was near. So I hope he rots in hell.

And then there's one who killed his kids.

OT but not OT- mental illness and how we treat it

Anon2009's picture

In light of what happened in Santa Barbara recently, I've been thinking about this. The shooter was obviously mentally ill.

We really need to change how we treat mental illness. Parents need to have the power to put their kids in mental health hospitals. If a person is found to have a true mental illness, they need to be in a mental hospital. Not a prison. A schizophrenic just got life without parole. He should be in a mental health hospital. So should many other prisoners.

Two men kill their exes.

One had a very violent history: http://deadspin.com/jared-remy-pleads-guilty-sentenced-to-life-without-p...

The other was bitter over having to pay his ex $600,000 and felt he got poor representation in the divorce proceedings:

Men like these two think they got screwed? They unjustly screwed people out of the right to live.

CP Parents moving

Anon2009's picture

I know the subject of parents moving came up recently. It's great that it came up because it's a subject many of us have dealt with on this board in one degree or another.

What do you think about CPs moving? Do you think it should be...I don't know if "harder" is the right word, but different for the CPs to move? Do you think there should be different rules for a CP moving as opposed to a NCP moving? It just seems like some are ok with NCP moving but feel differently about the CP moving.

NJ Honor Student who sued parents is now back living with them

At first, I couldn't believe this...if she thinks they're so self-centered/mean, why did she go back home? They can't be all that bad if they let her come back home. But maybe they felt it is necessary to help them heal as a family.

I'll join in with some questions too, of a different nature (sort of)

What do you expect from BM?

Do you expect her to be happy that the child's father is in the picture, regardless of what went down between her and the child's father? Do you expect her to be happy about that as so many men walk away from their kids?

Did you expect that BM and DH would have disagreements and would have trouble communicating? After all, they broke up for a reason. So it makes sense that BM would disagree with DH and not want to communicate with him, and vice versa.

Did you expect that she'd like you? How did you feel about that?

Moving on

I know this is a topic that comes up all the time on this site when discussing exes. I felt that bm had difficulty moving on from dh (I don't get why as she cheated on him).
