My Kid Exchange with BM

Anne Boleyn's picture

BM was supposed to pick up SD at 11:30. She arrived at 12:10. No call, no text, just late. This is the same woman who refuses visitation to FDH now if he's a minute late.

I put my partially packed suitcase by the front door so it would be obvious that I am also going with FDH on his trip. (Couldn't help it).

I was livid by the time she arrived. When the doorbell rang I let her sit out there a few minutes in the heat. I opened the door and handed her SD's bags and said "She's chosen not to eat, get dressed or wear shoes." She said "Got it".

SD came out smelling like a trucker in her nightgown. Her hair is oily and filthy. BM said "SD, you need to get dressed because we're going out to lunch with my friend". SD started whining and saying she needed to go home first to shower. BM said no and then they started arguing. I had the door open a moment to see if she'd need to come in and get dressed. But they started walking towards the car. So I shut the door and heard BM thank me.

See, BM, this is what you get when you let your kid be such a computer addict that she doesn't want to stop to eat, shower or get dressed. Have fun with your stinky ass, whiny daughter at lunch, bitch.

It sounded like BM was going to make her change (in the car?) but she definitely was going oily and stinky. And if she decided to relent and take her home, BM's lunch was ruined. Either way, that's what they both deserve.

Probably will. She didn't shower yesterday all day at BMs (she's clearly not had a shower in at least 2-3 days at her house). She was asked to get dressed here this morning and she refused. That's basically what I told BM. I am sure BM will somehow blame it on me-- she knows FDH went to work this morning and she was alone with me. But I don't care about that. She's the one who has to sit there at lunch with a kid with greasy hair and smelly armpits. No amount of bird bath is going to fix that mess.

And I am sure it was one hell of a fight in the car as SD will argue relentlessly and she didn't want to go out being stinky. I warned her that her mom might have plans. She chose to stay on the computer.

I know if I went to lunch and my friend tried to blame someone else for her DD appearence I would say really she is old enough to do it herself. LOL
