Growing up, I was a tomboy and a jock. I didn't go to parties, didn't drink, and was never part of a clique (unless jocks are a clique).

Apparently, you're never too old to reinvent yourself. Can someone tell me where I can buy a Pink Ladies jacket? At 52, I'm joining the dark side. Move over, Rizzo and Darth!!

I'm having a craptastic week, so I need to consider the good things in life...

I am thankful for:

* my Dad and SM being safe from Irma. They're headed back home, have no idea what kind of damage they'll find, but they were safe and sound, hundreds of miles away.

* prescription meds. I'm in a buttload of pain today. Can't wait to go home and take my meds to get some relief.

* my DH. This man is my rock and I love him with all my heart. I have no idea what I did to deserve him, but I am eternally grateful.

I'm curious. How long do you think Children of Divorce should use that as an excuse for why they're "broken" or why they treat stepparents like crap.

SD21 has been using the "But I'm a COD" for over 10 years now. Boo-fackin-hoo!!!!

The last several workdays, I have been tied to my computer. I'm not getting up and stretching often enough which is causing my neck and shoulders to tighten up terribly. I loathe massage, but would love to sit in a Jacuzzi and let the water pound away the tightness in my muscles. Since I don't have access to a Jacuzzi at this time, I'll have to resort to some stretching to try and loosen up.

What kind of stretches do you do to loosen up?
