I read your reply about it being exhasting and I ask around yesterday..... 23 people try this....all 23 that I told about this (out side of steptalk) I'm sure there were 100's more that did this ...... and no one said it was exhausting in fact they all felt better more at peace and happy for doing something positive. Myabe if you give it a try it could work for you but then with our busy life it might be too much for some of us ....I agree there will be some who would do it and some you don't....lol...all and out of the 23 there only 4 who don't have a job....it still work for the rest of the 19....lol...hugs sweetie

I like the idea and have done it in the past. Time to renew the activity! It brightens my day and somehow lighens my load. Thanks for the reminder to spread kindness - we can all use a little in our lives.

I loved that movie too......somethings I forget how bless we are too......this helps me here and there......and and I agree our money is more limited now then ever....but a a dollar here or there might mean a world to someone less blessed. Hugs sweetie

And you don't need money! Help someone out at the checkout line, let them go first, help carry groceries, be courteous in traffic. It's all good!

You are so right !!!!!.....Pick something up that falls down and give it to them....smile and even wishing someone a good morning or good afternoon is simple yet gives alot of warms back to them....I agree with you it's all good....hugs

I have plenty of times...the other day there were 2 ladies with 2 kids and their battery was dead. I have never jumped a car before but I had a new battery in my trunk b/c my battery was giving me problems and my DH put it in there in case i needed to jump myself. Many people passed them and I said do you need a jump. Jumped their car (shocked myself, b/c my jackass self didnt know what I was doing) and I was on my way. I'd just hope someone would do the same for me if they saw me stranded. I think what I call "Passing it Forward" is a great thing.

I love this concept and even if you're doing just one thing a day for someone it'll soon become second nature. As Glynne pointed out, what you do doesn't have to involve money - a helping hand, a kind word or gesture or even just a warm smile - surely that doesn't exhaust anyone. I once worked with a guy who was always in a cheerful mood. Given the place we worked (a nightmare company!) everyone wondered how Dale could come in to work each day with a big smile and a positive attitude, so I finally asked him what his secret was. He told me he had a choice - each day he wakes up could either be blessed or cursed - God presented him with a brand new day and it was his choice as to whether he woke up saying "good lord it's morning" or "Good Morning Lord!" He obviously choose the later. I try and remember that each morning, but unfortunately I'm not quite as good at it as Dale was. Smile

That is a beautiful story about Dale.....and i kind of think like this .....it's wonderful to share these things makes us happy inside and if all all did a little bit together this world would be a beautiful one.....thanks sweetie you are a blessing to us all...hugs
