Since there was a lot of confusion with my last post, I wanted to clarify some things. My SO's parents did not come back because they were tired of watching the kids. They were planning on staying here for the entire 2 weeks until school started. They constantly hovered around the kids while they were outside, herding the kids around while they were outside. They got irritated that the kids wanted to stay inside and play with their own toys that they haven't been able to play with for the 5 weeks that they were gone.

I don't know how to easily get my SO's two sons (8 and 10) back on our schedule and routine after returning from their grandparents house (SO's parents). They have been with the grandparents for 6 weeks now, and will be back in the middle of next week. The grandparents will probably be staying for at least a couple of days before they head back home, and their rules and structure is completely different than when the kids are with us.

She never fully responded to my SOs three things (basically asking her to follow the CO and the law), so she decided to leave a Voicemail(she called from her boyfriends phone) saying "i guess you decided you aren't going to let me have them so I guess that is that" and then sent an email friday morning basically saying the same thing.

and I am worried about it feeling more like "their" house rather than "our" house. The house is solely in his name right now, but we have been talking about moving in together once he purchases a house. Once married, we plan on adding my name to the house as well.

I am just having feelings about "intruding" in their house. I have no idea how the 8 and 9 year old will feel knowing that it is my house too. They are used to me being around the apartment all the time, but I don't actually live there.
