Ex Parte

Sunflower1's picture

Ex Parte has been dropped. SD has been telling some very big tall tales, apparently DH locks her in the basement when he isn't busy verbally and emotionally abusing her.

On DH's request parenting time is being halted, unless in therapy. The judge is also allowing DH to chose the therapist. So now we need to find a counseler that specializes in parental alienation reunification. DH and I agree unless there are big changes though SD will no longer be coming over, even after therapy. It's too dangerous.

Oh BM...

BM texts DH today:

"Drop the subpoena against my friends (who SD stayed with the weekend of the sledges abuse) today!! It's a huge inconvenience for them and it can't possibly help your case. Your attorney is trying to waste your money!! It should be just us and our attorneys there any way."

Think she's sweating bullets about her false allegations yet?

Hi all!

Just wanted to drop in and say hello!

We had our final court date back in May, the judge was not impressed with BM, in fact she almost cried on the stand. To recap: she was asking for nearly $1,200 a month support, private school tuition, 50% of all medical costs and 50% of select soccer costs. She is now getting less a month than before the CO.

Crazy BM thirty years later...

Some back ground. My parents have been married 25 years. Many of you know that I was adopted by my stepdad. Many of you don’t know that I have an older step sister. She was kept away from my father for a number of years. Her mother put in her in state care because she couldn’t control her around 13 years old. Somehow this was Dad’s fault even though his ex did everything she could to keep his daughter away from him. Dad’s ex made the usually pas comments, she accused my dad of abuse ect (their relationship failed because she cheated on my father).

OT 41 weeks and 2 days pregnant

Still no baby. I had my 41 week ultrasound and NST yesterday. She got 8 out of 8 points on her metaphysical, so that's good. And the NST confirmed what I already knew, I'm having very strong contractions. The down side? While I'm 70% effaced, I'm not really dilating and my cervix is still way far back. I've tried everything to try to get things moving. Sex, walking, squats, bouncing on a birth ball. I'm scheduled for an induction on Friday morning, but I'm pretty scared because I know those have a high fail rate with an unripe cervix. My midwife can't even do a stretch and sweep.

OT Rant. Anti vaxxers

I have a friend who has lupus-had her first kidney transplant at 19 and now is about to get another in her early thirties. She posted a a long Facebook post asking people to not get the flu shot if they're going to be around her. She's convinced that the shot (I understand the mist, as it is a live weakened virus) will give the recipient the flu and pass it on to her. I respectfully disagreed with her on her points and she went on a diatribe about how I shouldn't get the flu shot because I'm pregnant!!!

It's a girl!

We found out Monday we're having a baby girl! She's healthy and in the 53 percentile- I told DH this would probably be the only time I'm hoping our child to stay "average", six to seven pounds sounds better to birth than a nine pounder ( joking, a bit). We let SD know last night, she's disappointed because she wanted a baby brother but excited to teach LO how not to be "girlie". Half way through Smile

*Update: Telling SD stb12 she's going to be a big sister

It went...fine. Actually better than fine. We told her after I got off work and had dinner together. A big part of our message was that while things are going to change she's still loved. I wouldn't say she was over the top enthused, however there were no tears or pouting. She had tons of questions; did we know if was a boy or girl yet? When's it going to be born? Can she teach it how to play soccer?
