I married my husband 2 and a half years ago and took on 4 step children from two different marriages ages 6, 12, 18, and 22 at this time. I had NO IDEA what I was letting myself in for. I have dealt with angry drug addicted teenage step-daughter, ex-wives who are vicious towards myself and my husband. I have also encountered some very judgmental in laws.

There have been some gains in the past couple of years on some fronts. I still get overwhelned and occasionally am ready to throw in the towel. However, marriag is pretty good so I'm still trying to work through things.
