Been with my boyfriend for 6 years who has an 8 yr old child who is very wise beyond her years. Used to get on with wife but child started lying about me when her Mum started saying negative things about me and divorce proceedings started. A huge problem is that the daughter has NEVER slept in bed by herself - always with Parents and has only managed it once at our house. Dad now sleeps with daughter at our house and sometimes stays at ex marital home (wife not there on these nights!) and sleeps in ex marital bed with daughter. I am viewed as the big bad wolf cos have tried to change this. I used to get on very very well with daughter but now everything has changed.
