I'm a step mom who NEVER wanted to be a mom at all. I'm overwhelmed and extremely frustrated. BM is barely involved in her son's life. She's a waste of a human being. My husband has primary custody. My husband is wonderful and I love him, but having a kid is dragging me down to a new level of low. Every other female in the world seems to think that being female means you're destined to procreate, which I have no desire to do. I have nowhere to turn to w/my anger and frustration. To top off all the BM drama, my mother-in-law brings a whole other set of drama. My DH and I are relatively drama free, but those around us seem to be full of drama. I'm glad I came across this site. I would love to meet other step parents, especially biological childfree step parents, in the DFW, TX area.
