I am engaged to a wonderful man who is the proud parent of a wonderful 15 yr old girl. I truly am blessed to have such a wonderful, accepting, and fun young woman in my life. Recently she came to live with us, and BM rolled over and allowed it to happen after we hired a lawyer, after saying repeatedly she'd never allow it, and is now acting like the injured party "how come you didn't just talk to me?" yeah right. Anyway, she's completely stepped out of SD's life, no calls, no emails, and certainly no visitation. Her final punishment to this poor girl.

Puts a lot of pressure on me and my fiance, and I have put our engagement on hold. SD loves me, and he and I have been having problems, completely unrelated to her, but perhaps exacerbated by her presence. I am considering whether this situation is right for me, and it makes it all the worse knowing how important I am to this young woman....
