I am the step mom of a 4yr old boy. SS's parents divorced when he was about a year old. I have been in ss's life since he was 2 and his Father and I have been married since 2/08.
I am also the product of divorce, my parents divorced when I was 4 and my father has a live in girlfriend that he has been with for the last 20 years. She was in no way a step mother to us, by her own choice, and made it clear from the start that she despised us.
