I have been involved in a stepfamily situation for 3.5 years now, my current DH and I have now been married just over two years. I have two bkids from my first marriage, BS11.5, BD8.5. My DH also has two bkids SS16.5, SD13. We have faced many trials and rough times in the last several years including a very ugly custody battle with his ex wife, the BM. While our troubles are far from over I like to think we have now gotten through some of the worst times and are now working on actually blending our families. Of course that is a job all in itself. I have been "lurking" for two weeks now but I am finding as I read more that there are times that I may actually have something to offer as well. And of course I am sure there are people here who may also be able to offer some help to me.
